Mission & Purpose

To know God more intimately and to make Him known more widely through the combined experience of fly fishing, the Driftless Area, wild trout, and spring creeks.

Renewed Vision

Winding through valleys, surrounded by bluffs, spring creeks emerge from the ground to create ideal habitat for wild trout. Spirit Streams calls Coon Valley, WI our Home Pool. We live within what is known as the Driftless Area which is home to more than 600 spring fed trout streams.


Spirit Streams was born late 2012 and then born again in early 2020 through a renewed vision and calling of sharing our love and passion we have for the presence of God and His will, fly fishing, and the geologically rare Driftless Area region that we live within. We strive to share this love and passion through our catered fly fishing guide experiences, thought-provoking blog posts, unique photography, and eye-capturing videos.

Spirit Streams Avenue

This intimacy is found and maintained through continuous outdoor ministry while in the presence of the living God in His beautiful and unique creation of the Driftless Area, the spring creek paradise. It is here where mountain top experiences are realized in the deep limestone valleys.


The first four, and seven of the twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ, were fishermen by trade. Fly fishing for wild trout is what takes us to these beautiful encounters with the great I AM, Yahweh, the uncreated creator. As William Lane Craig testifies, it is He who is and always has been uncaused, beginningless, changeless, timeless, spaceless, immaterial, enormously powerful and holy, and the personal Creator of the universe.


Even though He always surrounds us and lives within us while we abide in Him, we will not be conscious of His presence unless we think, meditate, and are aware of Him and desire for intimate relationship with Him. With all the constant responsibilities, pressure, noise, and busyness of our lives in the twenty-first century, it is fly fishing within the intimacy and beauty of the Driftless Area that transcends us into this state of mindfulness, worship, and thankfulness. It is here where we soak in His presence to then get squeezed for the world to see the true reflection of what He always intended you to become as you live a life of full abundance in and through Christ as the Holy Spirit sanctifies you.
