Another lower humidity day in the Driftless summer is surely a welcome treat. We saw a few caddis duns during the later morning but nothing rising, so fished to consistent takes to caddis pupa. Some of the likely looking turbid colored runs looked perfect for small streamers and they too didn’t disappoint with some positive takes. It’s always a good day when a mixed offering works. The beautiful healthy wild trout had a brilliant silvery appearance about them which further enhanced another special Driftless day.
