Insect Hatching Activity: Caddis
Caddis was all we saw on this warm, partly cloudy day. With limited adults emerging and the underwater weedbeds expanding, a caddis dry and scud dropper were the chosen flies. This combination worked well and made for an enjoyable time on the stream. Many of the fish were tight to the banks, so long targeted casts to unspooked bank fish were often rewarded.
